Travel Grants

New We will also be offering a limited number of free registrations to students that volunteer to help with some of the conference management activities (use the same email address / deadline to apply). This is open to all attending students worldwide.

Google is offering three travel grants valued at 500 EUR each to ECIR 2012's participants from Eastern Europe. Preference will be given in order to:

• Highest ranked papers
• Authors of full papers (PhDs then Academics)
• Authors of other conference publications (short papers/posters, workshops papers, etc)
• PhD attendees

Eligible countries include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Republic of Macedonia, Russian Federation, Ukraine.

Please email your application to ecir2012@upf.edu indicating whether you have a publication accepted at the conference, and if you are a PhD student.
