The annual European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) is the main European forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of Information Retrieval. In 2012, the thirty fourth ECIR conference (ECIR 2012) will be held in Barcelona, Spain from the 1st to the 5th of April 2012. Specifically, in one of the campuses of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF): Ciutadella campus, c/Ramon Trias Fargas, 25-27, 08005 Barcelona.
